She is earning her undergraduate degree in English Literature and a certificate in Editing and Publishing. She hopes to become a copyeditor in the publishing industry while exploring her interests in memoirs, poetry, and fiction. When she isn’t working as an editorial intern for Orlando Style Magazine and GenZ Publishing, she is spending time with her Goldendoodles, Penny and Baxter. She is a senior at the University of Central Florida, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Letters/Modern Languages and Communications. She works as an editorial intern and journalist for the Florida Apartment Association’s Multifamily Florida Magazine. Camila is passionate about writing creative nonfiction centered on her experience as an immigrant. She is the creative nonfiction editor and a copy editor for The Cypress Dome. She is proud to work on this edition of Cypress Dome as a fiction editor and with Writers in the Sun as a student volunteer. Sarah Bailey Fiction Editor

She has an associate’s degree in English, and is majoring in Creative Writing/ minoring in Anthropology at the University of Central Florida, and hopes to continue a future in editing while satisfying her curiosity about humanity through her writing in both fantasy fiction and the occasional non-fiction essay. When not trying to catch up on the classic novels she never bothered to read in high school, she enjoys bonding with her dog Amelia Pond, and bingeing YouTube videos hilariously over-analyzing pop culture since her friends and family don't always appreciate when she does it in real time about popular books, movies, and TV shows. She leads her fellow poetry team members to figure out which poems would be the best fit for the magazine, also while screening through the art. She is a Creative Writing major with an Editing and Publishing certificate graduating a year early. Being a slam poet herself, Bonny has won CUPSI's 2019 Haiku Championship. She's worked on several literary magazines, including The Florida Review. When she's not reading and writing, she's either baking cookies or cuddling with her twelve-year-old dog, Romeo. She is a senior Creative Writing major at the University of Central Florida, with a minor in Writing & Rhetoric. Her work, which explores familial dynamics, mental illness, and intersectional identity, has previously appeared in PANK Magazine and The Acentos Review. She currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of The Cypress Dome. ID: Veronica stands in Times Square in New York. She wears a leopard print, coat, a black mock turtleneck shirt and blue jeans.
